Lord Kitchener Autograph Signed Display - black fountain pen autograph of Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener on a slip of paper cut from the end of a letter. The signature dates to 1897, prior to Kitchener becoming a Lord, when he was Sirdar of the Egyptian Army and is mounted with a photo of the infamous First World War recruitment poster

The signature  was removed from an autograph album belonging to CG Herington of Blackheath. The range of autographs covered a diverse selection of notables of the day such as politicians, military figures, music hall stars and sportsmen and amongst the selection were Winston Churchill, WG Grace, General Sir John French and Dan Leno

Double mounted in cream and black and professionally framed to an overall size of 19 x 13 inches
