WG Grace Autograph Signed Display - pencil autograph of WG Grace the English cricketer who is generally regarded as the greatest player of all time.  WG Grace played first class cricket for an incredible 44 seasons from 1865 - 1908 and excelled at batting, bowling and fielding as well as having great tactical acumen  

The signature is in light pencil but is clear and crisp and likely dates to the late 1890's/early 1900's and was removed from an autograph album belonging to CG Herington of Blackheath. The range of autographs covered a diverse selection of notables of the day such as politicians, military figures, music hall stars and sportsmen and amongst the selection were Winston Churchill, Lord Kitchener, General Sir John French and Dan Leno

Double mounted in cream and black and professionally framed to an overall size of 19 x 12 inches
