John Young Autograph Signed Display - vintage black ink autograph of American astronaut John Young who became the ninth person to walk on the moon as the commander of the Apollo 16 mission in 1972. Young's signature is one of the scarcest of the Apollo astronauts and what makes this item unique is the phrase "To the moon soon!!" which he adds beneath his autograph. The signature has been cut from an autograph album dating to the mid 1960's when Young was commander of Gemini 10 Double mounted in cream and black with a photo of Young jumping on the moon to an overall size of 16 x 14 inches
